Across the country—and within the Bay Area—attacks against Asian Americans have been on the rise during the COVID-19 pandemic. We at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley stand in solidarity with the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, and condemn racism and xenophobia in any form, which includes this alarming surge of anti-Asian hate crimes.
The Asian American and Pacific Islander community has organized to create reporting tools with translations so you can report Asian hate crimes in a variety of languages. Below are some resources you can use for such reporting, and organizations to which you can donate who are providing support to the AAPI community during this time.
THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS
